Course Outline

The Certificate III in Children¡¯s Services is a practically oriented course, which enables graduates to work in the childcare industry. This qualification covers workers who use organizational policies, procedures and individual children¡¯s profiles to plan activities and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes. Depending on the setting, workers may work under direct supervision or autonomously and may have limited supervisory responsibilities of volunteers. Graduates have the option to continue into the Diploma of Children¡¯s Services. Certificate III provides all of the prerequisite units of competency for the Diploma.
