  • The Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is a practically oriented course, which enables graduates to advance their careers in the childcare industry.
  • This qualification covers workers in children’s services who are responsible for planning, implementing and managing programs in early childhood services, in accordance with licensing, accreditation and duty of care requirements.
  • Student will demonstrate that they have responsibility to supervision of other staff and volunteers
  • Classroom training takes place over a maximum 24 months with up to 78 weekly sessions, a two week break at end of year and supported by tutorials at the end of each unit.
  • A flexible learning environment with access to a trainer both face to face, on-line or phone call allows student supported work at own pace

If students are working in a suitable environment they may undertake distance learning, with periodic support sessions.
